Hi! My name is Lee Sill and I started out as a "shutter bug" way back in junior high school (that was so many years ago). My family couldn't afford a nice SLR so all my pictures were taken with a point and shoot and processed at the local department store. My friends were often "victims" of a surprise flash. I bought my first SLR camera after college when I found myself in need of a hobby. I couldn't afford a darkroom and while I shot a lot of decent photos that friends and family loved, I still thought there was something missing. I continued to shoot off and on for the next few years, but work and family came first. Eventually, digital photography technology reached a level of quality and pricing became more affordable as to make it accessible to more and more people. That was my ah ha point! Now I could have a digital darkroom - affordable and not messy, no film to process and I could shoot tons of pictures.

Now - lots of people can shoot pictures; so why should you choose me? Because i continue(d) to learn. Photography is a journey. You never learn everything, but I have continued to educate myself through classes, workshops and shooting with other photographers including some of the top professionals in my area. While digital technology is great, it cannot replace artistic sensibility, attention to composition and proper lighting.
